Mission & Description
At Hope Paws Support Fund, we help dog owners cover unexpected medical bills, provide rescue organizations with the funding to save and transport dogs in need, and connect dogs with loving homes through a trusted network. Together, we ensure every dog gets a second chance at a healthy, happy life.

Hope Paws Support Fund was founded in February 2026 by Natalia Boiko, a longtime animal advocate with over a decade of experience in dog rescue. The organization was born from two parallel experiences. First, when Natalia's own dog, Ariel, faced a sudden medical emergency, the emotional and financial strain was overwhelming. She sat in the waiting room terrified – not just for Ariel, but for the bill she could not afford. That personal crisis highlighted the impossible choice countless families face every day. Second, through years of rescue work and as the administrator of the Facebook group "Dogs matter: Rescue, Adopt, Foster, Share," Natalia witnessed countless urgent dogs with rescue interest but lacking the financial backing to be pulled from shelters. She saw how pledges directly decide who gets saved. Recognizing that a formal safety net was missing, Natalia founded Hope Paws Support Fund to ensure that families in crisis and rescues on the front lines never have to rely solely on luck or last-minute pleas to save a life. Approach Hope Paws Support Fund is a 100% volunteer-led, federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 41-4118400). We do not run a shelter. Instead, we provide direct financial assistance to veterinary clinics, rescue organizations, and transport services – removing the financial barriers that stand between a dog and a second chance. We operate four interconnected, life-saving programs: Emergency Veterinary Care Fund ($12,000) – Direct financial assistance for life-saving surgeries, critical care, diagnostic imaging, and urgent medications. We pay veterinary clinics directly so families never have to choose between their dog and their financial stability. Rescue & Pull Support (12,000) - We provide funds directly to rescue organizations to pull dogs from high-risk shelters, especially OC Animal Care. Dog Transportation Network ($10,800) – Safe transport using volunteer drivers and commercial services to move dogs from overcrowded
