The Japanese American Citizens League (JACL) is located in Creve Coeur, MO, and is the oldest and largest Asian American civil rights organization in the United States. Founded in 1929, the JACL advocates for the rights of Japanese Americans and promotes social justice, cultural heritage, and community service. The organization also works to educate the public about the history and contributions of Japanese Americans.
